We don’t quite know the right way to begin a letter to someone who might change our lives so completely, so we’ll just start by saying thank you. Thank you for reading this and for even considering doing something so generous.
At this point in our lives, what we want most is to build a family. Caring for others has been an important part of both of our lives: Henry has spent years mentoring young people and helping them develop their careers, while Hugo chose pharmacy because he wanted to care
for people and help them feel better. We are now ready to bring that same patience, responsibility, and dedication to raising a child.
As two men, we need the help of a gestational surrogate to become fathers. We have approached this path deliberately: attending educational conferences, choosing experienced fertility professionals, selecting an egg donor, and beginning the embryo-creation process.
For us, parenthood is more than a dream. It is a commitment we are preparing for with care and with our whole hearts.
We also want to be honest about the kind of relationship we hope for. We would love to be present, to share in the milestones, and to support you fully while always respecting your life, your family, your comfort, and your boundaries. You should never feel you have to hide a
hard day or manage our feelings. We want you to feel safe with us, heard by us, and free to tell us what you need at every step.
We know this is a two-way choice, and we know you would be considering us just as carefully as we would consider this journey together. We hope you will keep reading to learn a little more about us.
