Hello, we are Frédéric and Bastian. We are 44 and 42 years old, respectively, and we live in France. One of us works in the French administration, while the other works in the reservation center of one of France’s largest theme parks.
Our similar backgrounds have always driven us to want to have a child. The question was how to go about it…
In our country, it is very difficult for a same-sex couple to establish paternity through adoption, which is why we are considering using a surrogate in 2022.
After an initial setback in one country, we turned to Canada for its ethical and altruistic approach to surrogacy.
We were incredibly fortunate to meet a wonderful egg donor who helped us obtain three embryos at the Create Fertility clinic. We are also being supported by a Canadian lawyer specializing in surrogacy, and the CFC team is wholeheartedly dedicated to advising us.
After an initial embryo transfer in Canada, and our surrogate ghosting us afterward, we are determined to see through the biggest project of our lives. We are therefore searching for the wonderful surrogate who will allow us to become parents.
We’re looking for a caring relationship, where we’ll be able to listen and talk to each other on a regular basis. Even though we’ll be physically far from her, we hope to be a real support to her and her family throughout this journey.
We know it won’t all be easy, but today we’re simply dreaming of starting our own family and offering our child the fatherhood we’ve never known.
