Meet Louis-Francois & Stephane
Location: Lavérune, France
Watch our video:
We are Louis-François and Stéphane.
We’re 41 years old, French and live in Montpellier in the south of France.
Stéphane was born in Montpellier, and I in Bonifacio, Corsica.
Our destinies were linked when we were 24.
I was a student in Montpellier, we met at a party, and we’ve been in love ever since.
We’ve been together for over 16 years now.
We know how lucky we are to be so happy and to feel loved, listened to, protected and supported by the person we love.
We’ve built our adult lives together.
Stéphane is a positive person who loves life and good food, and is sociable, courageous and hard-working.
He has two professional activities: he manages trains for the French railway company, and he’s also a real estate agent the rest of the time, because he’s passionate about business.
He enjoys swimming, crossfit, cycling, paddle-boarding, running and recharging his batteries by the sea.
I’m an educator of young children, in charge of a team in a crèche, and together we support a group of children and their families on a daily basis.
I’m a rather discreet person, sensitive, I have a lot of empathy, I’m organized and tidy.
I like beaches with turquoise waters, laughing, listening to music, taking care of others and above all gardening.
I love taking care of our gardens, creating green spaces in which we feel good.
When I work in my garden, I recharge my batteries and feel good.
Ten years ago we had a house built in Montpellier, where we now live, and three years ago we were lucky enough to build a new house in Corsica, in my hometown, next to my sister Prescillia, my parents, my grandmother and all my aunts, uncles and cousins.
Creating our home in this privileged Corsican setting has been a wonderful adventure, and it’s also a project we wanted to carry out to enable our child to spend time in this wonderful, peaceful place, as close to nature as possible.
We’ve been dreaming of starting a family for years.
Life is precious and passes quickly.
At 41, we can’t imagine living our lives without knowing the joy of being dads, and we’re ready in every way to welcome our child.
We think about it all the time, constantly projecting ourselves into everyday life as a threesome.
We’ve already decided that Stéphane will take a break from his professional career for the first two or three years of our baby’s life, because we know how important they are.
We will do everything in our power to ensure that our child grows up in the best possible environment, bathed in unconditional love.
Our baby is already so loved.
Our friends and family are so supportive and excited about us becoming dads.
Our parents can’t wait to become grandparents, and Stéphane’s three nephews, aged 15, 13 and 11, can’t wait to have a little cousin.
My sister Prescilla donated her oocytes to us so that we could have a child with our own genetic make-up.
We’ve been fused since we were little, and I can’t describe the emotion this act brings us.
Thanks to her, we have 5 little embryos waiting patiently in Toronto since December 2024, and we can now look forward to fulfilling our dream of having a child who looks like both of us.
This profound wish to become parents can only become reality if our destinies cross and your heart feels the desire to make this journey with us.
We imagine a caring, healthy and simple relationship with the wonderful person who will choose to carry our baby.
We’ll listen, never intrude, and respect your choices and privacy.
Unfortunately, we don’t speak English well, so we’ll adapt to your preferred method of communication.
During the pregnancy, it would be great if we could assist by phone when the baby’s sex is announced and only if you wish, it would be a real gift if you agree to us coming to visit you without bothering you just for an afternoon to meet you and see your rounded belly.
Just writing it gives us a lot of emotions.
After the birth of our child, we would be very happy if you and your family would agree to be our baby’s Canadian auntie.
It would be an honour for us, and we think it’s important for our child that we can keep a link with the person who gave birth to him.
We thank you very much for taking the time to read our letter and hope from the bottom of our hearts to be able to meet you soon and start this fabulous journey with you.
Louis-François & Stéphane.
