Hi! We are Emily and Everley from Toronto, and we are so excited to grow our family through surrogacy.

Our story began with music. I went to watch Everley’s band play one night, and seeing him shine playing the bass caught my eye instantly. We quickly became inseparable. We are a classic case of opposites attracting. I am the vibrant, organized spark, while Everley is my calmest refuge—the quiet, tech-savvy protector who always walks on the outside of the sidewalk. Rounding out our home is our sweet cat, Mina. She’s currently the “boss” of the house and we know she’ll be the most gentle “big sister” to our future baby.

We’ve always dreamed of becoming parents and make a fantastic team. Outside of work, we love exploring new travel destinations, hosting close friends, and having cozy movie nights. Music remains the heartbeat of our home—whether attending live shows or just singing together in the living room. We can’t wait to share these passions and our family traditions with our child.

Surrogacy became our path due to medical necessity, as doctors strongly advised against me carrying a pregnancy. Fortunately, we had the foresight to freeze my eggs five years ago. Thanks to that decision, we are now incredibly blessed to have five healthy, PGT-A tested embryos waiting for us. Because these embryos are so hardwon and precious, we need a special surrogate’s help to safely bring our little miracle home.

Dear Future Surrogate,

I am writing this to you not just as a hopeful parent, but as a woman deeply in awe of what you are offering to do. How do I adequately thank another woman willing to share the incredible strength of her body to give me the greatest gift in the world?

For as long as I can remember, I have desperately wanted to be a mother. I always imagined feeling those little kicks inside me. When doctors advised against me carrying a pregnancy for medical reasons, it was a heartbreaking reality. To be honest, there are still moments I see a pregnant woman and feel a quiet ache for the experience I won’t get to have.

But then I think of you. Knowing someone has the profound generosity to step in and carry my child when I cannot fills me with a gratitude I can barely describe. You are giving me the chance to fulfill my ultimate dream.

While I cannot carry the pregnancy, my partner, Everley, and I are completely ready and wildly excited to become parents. Five years ago, I had the foresight to freeze my eggs. Thanks to that decision, we are incredibly blessed to have five healthy, genetically tested embryos safely waiting for us. They are our hard-won little miracles, just waiting for the right woman to bring them into the light.

Everley and I have built a life filled with love, laughter, and music. Since the night we met at one of his band’s gigs, we have been an inseparable team, and we will bring that same teamwork to our journey with you.
