Meet Robbin & Jaap

Our names are Robbin and Jaap and we live in a small city in the east of the Netherlands. We have been together for five years now, and we love each other very much. Even on our first date, we talked about our deep desire to become parents. In the Netherlands, there are very few possibilities for gay couples to become parents! We have tried everything to make our biggest dream come true. We even have been on the new on television and in the news paper telling our story, hoping to find that one special person that is willing to be our surrogate. Unfortunately, with no success.
But we didn’t give up and friends from the Netherlands have inspired us to explore options in Canada. They successfully completed this journey and are now the proud parents of a baby girl. We are following a similar path. We already have an egg donor and have two good- quality embryos. In January 2026, we will return to Canada to create more embryos. Now, we are ready for the next step in the process and are looking for that one lovely person that wants to be our surrogate. Could that be you?
To tell you a bit more about ourselves:
Robbin is 33 years old and comes from the east of the Netherlands. He is the oldest of five brothers and has enjoyed watching his younger siblings grow up. He sings in a band, runs his own corporate events company, and enjoys winter sports, boating, and theatre.
Jaap is 37 years old and comes from the north of the Netherlands. He has an older brother and a younger sister, along with several nephews and nieces, whom he loves very much. His biggest hobby is playing the saxophone. He plays in an orchestra as well as in Rob bin’s band. In daily life he works as a psychologist in elderly care, a profession he practices with great love and passion.

Dear potential surrogate,
Our greatest wish is to find a surrogate. The fact that you are considering this is already something very special to us!
The love we, Robbin and Jaap, share is something truly special, and it has always been our dream to extend that love to a child of our own. The path has not been easy; we’ve faced quite a few challenges along the way, but our will is incredibly strong. Together, we have overcome obstacles that have tested us, and each step has only reinforced our determination to start a family.
We are thankful that you consider to become a surrogate for us. What a beautiful gift you might give—one that fills our hearts with gratitude!
