Hello!

We are Sven and George. We have been together for 16 years and we wish for nothing more than to start a family!

Sven was born and raised in Germany, and George is from India. We met each other in Boston and have lived together since 2010. We have a black labrador mix, Luci, who is bringing so much joy to our lives! She is the sweetest dog on earth. She is super friendly and inquisitive and likes to snuggle.

We are hoping to find a surrogate who will help us make our dream come true and have a baby. We want to have a close relationship with the surrogate and keep you in the loop on how the child will be growing up over the years. I have always wanted to be a father, raising children and caring for them. We will raise our children in an open-minded, positive way, and will teach them everything we know. We are looking forward to having a close-knit, loving family that is built on trusting each other, listening to each other, and caring for each other. We have built a beautiful home where we are hoping to welcome our child with lots of love!

George is a physical therapist and works in a PT clinic where he sees patients every day. Sven is a scientist and works in drug development to find cures for cancer and many other terrible diseases. We both share the passion of wanting to help others in our lives.

We both grew up in down-to-earth ways: Sven was born and raised in Germany and grew up on a farm with fields where we grew crops, and with livestock in the barns. George grew up in Kerala, India, where they lived by a river and had chickens and dogs.

We both love the outdoors, and we often go for bike rides, or swim in the nearby lake, or we go kayaking. At our house, we have a garden where we grow vegetables, and we have a lot of flowers of all different colors. We both love to cook – George makes lots of slow-cooked Indian dishes which are delicious, and Sven bakes his own sourdough bread. Like this, we always have good food at the house!

Our favorite TV shows are comedies like Upload or Young Sheldon, and we love to watch nature documentaries, too. When we can, we like to travel and discover a new part of the world – to see what life looks like in a different place, what food there is, and what wildlife can be seen there.

We are both very close to our families. We each speak to our parents on the phone every week and I visit Germany as often as I can. I am also very close with my sister, and my two nieces. They have come to visit us many times, and my nieces often spend several weeks at our house. George visits his brother’s family often, too. They have two boys who are now finishing high school and who are driving around in the family car!

When the baby is here, we will continue several family traditions. For Easter, we will do an Easter egg hunt and we always ate a certain dish that’s made of eggs, milk, potatoes and a lot of herbs, called “Green Sauce”. To this day, I make Green Sauce once a year for Easter. It reminds me of home. George and I grew up with Christmas trees, so for Christmas we will have a tree. This festive time of the year has a firm place in our family as a period of relaxation and reflection.
