Our journey began in June 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic, when we discovered that we were not just neighbours but perfect partners. Dating during such challenging times caused our relationship to develop at a fast rate, as ever changing lockdowns and social rules forced us to limit our interactions to a small circle of people. We fell madly in love and quickly integrated into each other’s lives, becoming inseparable and forming strong bonds with each other’s circle of friends and families. Since then, it’s been a non-stop adventure. We’ve travelled to California, Florida, Italy, France and Greece together, and in September 2022, our story reached a beautiful milestone when Joey proposed to Nick in Paris on Nick’s birthday.
Taking our commitment to the next level, we celebrated our marriage with a destination wedding in Italy in August 2023, surrounded by the love and warmth of 40 close friends and family members. Our families share a special connection, getting along seamlessly, and we cherish any opportunity to bring everyone together, whether for big celebrations or cozy dinners at home.
Both of us come from close-knit families, and our deep connections with our parents and siblings have played a significant role in shaping our values and priorities. It’s these strong family bonds that have fuelled our shared dream of expanding our own family. Recognizing the unique path that life has presented us, we feel incredibly blessed to embark on the journey of parenthood through surrogacy.
We are so excited to have a baby and start growing our family. We are committed to providing a warm and nurturing home for our future children (we envision 2!) and know that our kids will be raised the same way we both were – with endless love, a large and present extended family, unyielding support, and an unwavering commitment to put them above all else.
