About them:

Felix and Nic have been in a loving relationship for thirteen years. During the first two years, they lived separately in Montreal while Felix studied medicine at the University of Montreal, and Nic began his medical schoolat McGill University. Their plan was to live together once Felix transitioned to his medical residency. However, Felix received a mandatory training position in Quebec City, which led to a three-hour weekend commute for both of them for approximately two and a half years. After Nic completed medical school, he trained in family medicine Quebec City, where they lived together for the duration of his residency. In the fall of 2016, Felix and Nic celebrated their union by getting married, surrounded by friends and extended family. Following Nic’s completion of his family medicine training, he was posted by the Canadian Armed Forces to Saint Jean sur Richelieu for his return of services obligation. While Nic was in Saint Jean, Felix was completing his training as a specialist in geriatrics abroad. They managed to meet alternating between Quebec City and St-Jean and Switzerland. In the summer of 2019, Nic returned to Quebec City for additional medical training to become a military surgeon. He is scheduled to finish training in 2026. Their journey with a previous surrogate began in 2021 and resulted in the birth of their son, Theodore, in January 2022. Theodore’s arrival brought them immense joy and has become the center of their busy lives. As a couple, Nic and Felix have thoroughly considered the surrogacy process and have made a mature and well-thought-out decision to extend their family. They believe they are ready to expand their family and pass on their love and strong family values. Their families are highly supportive and eager to meet a potential new family member. With stable careers, financial security, and a vast network of supportive friends, Nic and Felix are confident in their ability to provide for their second’s child’s social, financial, and emotional needs.
