My name is Tyrone, I am 32 years old and work as a ground lease lawyer for the municipality of Amsterdam. My Partner, Joris is 45 years old and a Full Stack Developer. We live in the land of tulips, wooden shoes, cheese and van Gogh. The city Amsterdam we call our home where we live close to residential area filled with families, parks and lovely restaurants. We have been together since august 2014 and have managed to build a loving, stable and respectful relationship.

Becoming parents is something we’ve given a lot of thought over the years. Through many heartto-hearts, quiet moments, and conversations over coffee, we asked ourselves the big questions:

are we truly ready? Can we give a child the love, stability, and respect they need to thrive? And the answer we kept coming back to was yes — we have so much love to give, and we’re genuinely excited about the journey of becoming two loving, supportive (and hopefully fun) dads.

In our day-to-day lives, we really enjoy diving into our hobbies. I’m passionate about cooking and exploring different cuisines — I love reading about food, cultures, and history from around the world. Joris is more of the tech explorer; he enjoys learning new skills, catching up on great series, and staying curious about all things digital.

We also have a bunch of shared passions: we both enjoy CrossFit (it keeps us sane), traveling whenever we get the chance, and making podcasts together — where we talk about everything from life to things that just make us laugh.

These two are the heart and soul of our household, and we honestly couldn’t imagine life without them. They’re just as curious and excited as we are to welcome a tiny new human into the pack!

We’re incredibly lucky to have the unwavering support of our amazing families, who are just as excited as we are to welcome a little one into our lives. The grandparents-to-be are absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to shower our future child with endless love, cuddles, and joy!
