Meet Yoann & Adrien

Hi! We are Yoann, 38 years old, researcher in biology and Adrien, 33 years old, language teacher (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French).

We have been living together in Bordeaux (South-west of France) for more than 9 years, in a civil union for 5 years, and we are married since October 2020.

Our encounter in 2014 was like obviousness, a destiny. Adrien is a friend of Yoann’s brother. He introduced us, and we fell in love very quickly.

We like to spend time with our family, friends, nephews and nieces, with whom we like to play and learn. We are both godparents of two children. We love to see them grow up and are proud to be a part of their lives.

Our respective families live in the center of France, in the Loire Valley region, full of history, and it is with pleasure that we visit them as often as possible. Adrien is Franco-Portuguese, and we visit Portugal at least once a year. Adrien’s family comes from a small village near Porto where they have a family home.

We love travelling, discovering new places, new cultures and new people. Thanks to our language skills (mainly Adrien’s), we can easily communicate and exchange with the locals and it’s a real pleasure. We would really like to give these values to our children. We love Canada. Yoann’s best friend has been living in Montreal for almost 15 years. In 2016, we made a trip from Montreal to Niagara’s Fall, via Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto. It is a lovely country.

We love to go to the sea, for us it’s a soothing and resourcing place. We live close to the Atlantic Ocean and go to the coast whenever the opportunity arises. We especially like the Basque country and we regularly go there on weekends because we have our second home.

The question of whether or not to have children came up very quickly in our relationship, even before we met for the first time. We do not envisage our life without children at home. We want to transmit strong values to our children and offer them a pleasant life full of love, beautiful encounters and tolerance.

In May 2023, our daughter Alba was born in Montreal thanks to our incredible surrogate Marjolaine. We spent a lot of time with her and we have learned to know her for almost two years. We have developed a strong relationship, we met her family and friends and she met our relatives too. She made our dream come true. We are parents now and we are very happy. MArjolaine has other plans now and we are looking for another little fairytale to help us to have a little sister/brother or both 😉 for Alba.

Alba is very smiley, nice and she will be a good sister.

We are looking for somebody very cool :), who love to share and communicate with us. Somebody who wants to take part in our journey and family. We are very willing to share some moments and good vibes together. We are very honest and we want to build a relationship based on honesty and love :). If you want to get more details, Marjolaine, our first surrogate, will be happy to talk with you.

Although adoption for homosexuals is possible in France, it is extremely complicated to have a child, as these couples are not considered as “priority” couples. Surrogacy is in any case the way we have always wished to have a child, as it allows us to follow our child’s life from conception.
