Hello, we’re Tristan and Adam, a down to Earth Aussie couple, living in Melbourne, hoping to meet our someone special to help us become fathers. We’re so excited to be starting this journey to parenthood, knowing how much it means to each other.

On one of our early dates back in 2017, upon realising that we’d both met that special someone, we discussed our hopes and dreams for the future. We found we aligned on family, marriage, fun, excitement, and of course children! Fast forward to now and we’ve had two gorgeous little Maltese Shih-Tzus join our lives, travelled, bought our home and got hitched.

In 2024, with the help of Adam’s sister, Becky, we created eleven healthy PGT-A tested embryos. We’re so thankful and appreciative to Becky for being our egg donor. Not only did she do the IVF process from over in Auckland, New Zealand, but also did not hesitate to undergo a second retrieval. Now, we are ready to become dads and show our littles ones this remarkable world. Between Australia, New Zealand and Canada, our child would be well on their way to ticking off all of the Commonwealth nations.

We hope to connect with a surrogate who, along with Becky, will play a key role in our child’s life as a very special Auntie. Someone who wants to take all the steps of the journey with us, will lean on us during the ups and downs, and share the special moments with us. We’d love to maintain an ongoing relationship with our generous surrogate and her family.

In our shared time off, we like to make the most of the time together. Things such as spending time in the great Aussie sun, exploring our local area and having a nice dinner or watching a movie. We both enjoy board games, some of our favourites being Catan, Ticket to Ride and Codenames. We look forward to introducing our children to the games we learned when we were young, like battleships and monopoly. Tristan enjoys dance classes, running, swimming, and does a range of volunteer work, particularly with the elderly, who would love to have a little baby come visit them along with the dogs. Adam has a competitive streak, so enjoys a range of sports including squash, padel, and rock climbing. He looks forward to teaching our children how to climb, much to the dismay of Tristan, who is far from comfortable on the wall!

Most days we take out our dogs Oscar and Minnie to our local park. They enjoy playing with the other dogs and the neighbourhood kids. Sometimes they have a sleep over with their friends from around the block. We hope that Oscar and Minnie will have a little 2-legged sibling to play with one day soon.

Tristan works as a pilot at Jetstar Airways. He has worked all over Australia to gain enough experience to land the job he dreamt of since before he could walk. We hope that one day Tristan can be the pilot for a flight with our children. Adam works as a data professional, a topic which frequently goes over Tristan’s head, as much as Tristan flies over Adam’s!

We have travelled together through India, Europe (Germany, Austria, Italy), South-East Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia) and throughout Australia. Hopefully adding more amazing places to the list as the years go by, with our kids riding on their own little suitcases through airport terminals.

We can’t wait to take our child to visit Tristan’s family on the family farm in country Victoria, and to go to the beach with Adam’s family in sunny Perth. We want to watch our child play with their grandparents and their baby cousin(s). We know that our parents will dote on them every chance they get.

One day, we also hope our child can build a relationship with their surrogate. We would love to arrange video calls, send each other messages, and send and receive cards for birthdays/season’s greetings. When our child is old enough, we would love to take them to Canada to spend time with their surrogate and her family. We feel it is important our child knows everything about where they came from, and knows how much they are loved. We intend to prepare a children’s book telling their story, including their special Auntie Becky, and their special surrogate. We hope that they will develop the same value of family that we so cherish.
