ABOUT US –
We would like to introduce ourselves. Gurdeep is 35 years old, born and raised in Delhi, India, and Lin is 36 years old, born and raised in Guangzhou, China. We met in university when pursuing graduate study. We have known each other for 10 years and married for 8 years. Currently we are both working as IT professionals.
Living as an interracial couple means double the culture, celebrations, love, and joy. Gurdeep and the family love spicy food, so we always prepare homemade spicy sauce for dishes like dumplings or fried rice. Meanwhile, Lin cannot handle spice, so they set aside non-spicy portions for her and the kids. Gurdeep is learning Chinese, while Lin enjoys everything Bollywood, often dancing and making videos with Gurdeep’s cousins.
