Meet Benjamin & Dennis

Hi! We are Benjamin & Denis. We are French, we live right outside of Paris, between city as and the countryside – Benjamin just turned 40 and Denis 35. We have been together for more than 11 years.

Together with our cat, Milady, we are a family whose only missing part is a baby. We have never felt more than ready to welcome a beautiful little human, cherish them and give them as much love as anyone can hope for. Our friends and family are also very eager and looking forward to seeing us embark upon this new life journey.

A little about us, how we live and what we are excited to share with our little one : We love and need our sports – we both play Tennis, Denis practices Yoga on a regular basis, and we are both into hiking, whenever we get a chance.

Family time is paramount to us, we see our family (parents, siblings) at least 3 times a month. Benjamin’s brothers and their partner usually come round for a thaï dinner every Tuesday.

We are very sociable, and see our friends (most of the time together, although it’s also crucial for us to spend time on our own with friends). Our perfect night would include a nice meal, with good wine and board games.

Denis loves singing, and is into tarot and fortune telling.

Benjamin runs a few triathlons every year with close friends (and they always reward themselves with a fantastic meal after the runs 🙂

When we imagine our surrogacy journey, we hope that we can have as close a relationship as possible, while being 5,000 miles away, and without being intrusive. We also want to be as supportive as we can and experience the pregnancy in anyway possible. We WILL have her favourite food delivered as regularly as required 🙂
It will ultimately be up to her, as we want to be mindful of her and her family privacy .

During the pregnancy, we would love to have regular news. Weekly sounds fun, but ultimately, we will go with whatever flow works for the surrogate. Also, we’d be happy to travel for one of the ultrasounds for instance, if that makes sense and doesn’t feel too intrusive.

After the birth, we would love to continue whatever relationship our surrogate is open to, she is such an important part of our child’s life! We would love to keep in touch regularly, and our door will remain open if she wants to visit, but this will ultimately be her decision, and we will accommodate accordingly. Whatever she choses she will always hold a place in our hearts.
