Hi there, dearest potential surrogate,

If you’re looking to become someone’s hero, you’ve come to the right place. We’re François and Damien, from Belgium (western Europe). We’re 37 and 33 and have been happily together for almost 9 years now. Becoming fathers and starting a family is a dream we’ve had ever since we met. We look forward to filling our house with children’s laughter (and the occasional tears …). We’ve been longing to become fathers for a long time now and founding a family is our dearest wish. We have so much respect, awe, gratitude, and empathy for surrogates. Using your superpower to bring new life into the world is truly extraordinary. The woman who will carry our child will be our hero and will change our lives forever.

We’re looking for a genuine, casual relationship with our surrogate, that is flexible to your needs and ours. We want to be there to support you while also respecting your busy life. Your well-being means everything to us and you can always count on our care and support. We had a wonderful relationship with our egg donor. We’d love for this surrogacy journey to also be a shared human experience, in which we’re eager to getting to know you… and remain forever grateful afterwards. After the birth (OMG!), we’re open to any level of relationship that feels comfortable and natural, whether it’s staying in touch from across the ocean or checking in from time to time. We’re happy to make it work in whatever way is best for you.

We want this adventure to be enriching for everyone involved, feeding us positive vibes. We want to be able to tell our kids everything that happened during this surrogacy journey. We want him or her to be proud of you, proud of us and even proud of her/himself! We hope everything around this life creation story would be about universal love and human solidarity and generosity. What better way to start a child’s education? How could that child not be loving and confident, after being born from four person’s long efforts and desires (the surrogate, the eggs donor, and the two of us)?

We’re excited to introduce ourselves in the hope of getting to know you! François is a PhD turned organic farmer, while Damien is an economist. We are passionate and curious people who love to explore and create. We’re quite outdoorsy people. Whether it’s hiking and skiing in the mountains, cooking, dancing, singing, gardening, hosting friends or being available for people who need us… we live life to the fullest and always have exciting projects. We don’t do things half-ass but we also love to chillax, nap, read or watch movies in our home-cinema; anything from independent films from all over the world to the good old Star Wars and Lord of the Rings sagas and their brand new series.

François is a deeply sensitive person, attuned to his emotions and to those of people around him. He is also incredibly driven: once he sets his mind on something, he makes it happen. As a bio-engineer, he is now a part-time organic farmer, growing fruits like grapes, figs, plums, peaches and pears which he sells locally. He also teaches sustainable agriculture and has tons of hobbies from pottery and carpentry to gardening, flower crafts and writing. He is also a big fan of acroyoga and acrobatic gymnastic!

Damien is endlessly curious and always eager to learn. He grew up and studied in 6 countries and speaks 5 languages. He now works as a key advisor in government. Damien is always onto something.

After having perfected the arts of brewing Ginger Beer and breeding Indian-runner ducks and chickens, he developed a passion for tropical plants, making our house a lush indoor jungle.

We live together in a natural paradise, in the Belgian countryside. We recently finished renovating our house. From bedrooms to playrooms, high chairs, slides and swings, and even great neighbors ready to help, everything is ready to welcome babies and grow happy children. We are also big animal lovers and are looking forward to share it with our kids: we have chickens and ducks, we can stroke the horses at the bottom of the garden, and we plan to have a dog shortly. In that place like in others before, we do our best to live in harmony with our planet, inspired by the French saying that goes: “We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children” – and we sure do have to have children of our own!

We are also very lucky to have a place in town, with Damien’s family. Our kids will enjoy the best of both worlds: growing up in the pristine beauty of the countryside as well as experiencing the bustling city life of vibrant and multi-cultural Brussels. We have a loving family, with nieces and nephews waiting to have cousins, and lots of friends, in both the countryside and the city.

Helping us bring this family project to life is the greatest gift anyone could give us. We know it’s a big decision, with many implications, and we’re extremely grateful to you for considering taking this step with us! Our hearts are already bursting with love at the idea starting such a process.

Until now, it’s been very abstract, but soon, perhaps thanks to you, it will become concrete. We can’t imagine the feeling of accomplishing this dream: more than happiness, it would be a huge exhilaration and a deep and true joy forever. We get chills just thinking about it!
