I’m a Primary School Teacher (teaching Children from 5 -12 years of age) & John is a Supply Planner with a Medical Device Company.
John and I met in 2009 on a random night out & got talking. That night we swapped numbers & 6 year later we got married after Christmas in Dec 2015.
A few years later we discovered we could not have kids naturally ourselves which was a big blow. It took time to come to terms with this & once we did, we started looking at what options were available.
Adoption was out first consideration until a family friend suggested surrogacy. Initially we were not all that sure about surrogacy for many reasons but the more we looked into it the more we considered it. We truly believe it is an incredible gesture for any women to become surrogate & to help out couples like ourselves who cant have a family & are desperate to do so.
