Dear Future Surrogate,

I am Erinn and this is my husband, Angelo. Angelo and I met over five years ago online, and 2 years from the day we met we got married. Sometimes things just click, and that is how was for us!

We live in Mississauga; however, our fertility clinic is in Windsor. Please don’t let that put you off. I know it could be a bit far to travel, but it’s easy to get to and not too far from Toronto. This clinic is the best we’ve dealt with. We didn’t pick the clinic, our egg donor did, but we are so happy with them as they are kind, considerate and professional. We currently have 8 embryos at our fertility clinic. We’ve been to Windsor several times and had a great time walking the beautiful waterfront and eating at some amazing restaurants.

Angelo and I have not done this before, so when we think about our relationship with you, we would like it to be a positive one. With as much or as little communication as you are comfortable with. We plan on being as helpful and supportive as you would like or need from us. We’d like to have a friendship with you, that will organically grow as we get to know each other and share this amazing experience together.

As for us, Angelo would describe me as a bit quiet at first, then once I get to know you, I am chatty, funny, and very kind. I would describe Angelo as playful, sweet and he has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I love to read and cook whereas Angelo loves finding unique things for us to try and finding interesting treasures for our home. We love to go hiking in the spring and fall, snow shoeing in the winter and spend the summer by our pool. We like spending time with our families, Angelo’s family lives in the GTA, as does my Dad, while the rest of my family lives in Vancouver.

We got married in 2020 during the pandemic – we didn’t want COVID to delay our future together. That resulted in a very small and intimate wedding, with our closest friends and family. We went on our honeymoon last year to Germany, Austria, and Italy. In Italy, I got a chance to meet some of Angelo’s family. It was a wonderful time and we’ve included some of our photos from that trip. We both love to travel and entertain our friends at our house.

There are so many things I would like to say and hope that what you have read piques your interest in us! I know you are probably reading quite a few of these and whether you select us, what you are doing for people by being a surrogate is an amazing gift and truly a remarkable kindness.
