Dear surrogate mother,
It is with great emotion that we write this letter to introduce us.
We are Damien and Aurélien.
Our adventure began 4 years ago (2019) during a game of board games organized by an association of game lovers. It was love at first sight and we have not left each other since. Different but complementary, communication is the basis of our relationship. We’ve each evolved so much since we met. Damien has become more flexible and less orderly while Aurélien is more organized! Damien also shared with Aurélien his passion for travel and especially road trips in Canada and the United States. Since then, Aurélien has also become a fan of trips and he wants more!
Canada already holds a special place in our hearts, it is here that we proposed (in Niagara Falls, on 31/10/2021) and it is in this country that we wish to realize our journey to become fathers. It is a country with which we want to maintain a strong bond so that our child can discover where he comes from.
Cooking, watching TV shows and movies (desperate housewives, modern family, Harry Potter), walking our dog Simba, playing board games, going to the theatre and restaurant are all activities that we look forward to sharing with our child.
We’re ready to be dads. We have 7 PGS tested embryos. We work with Dr. Victory’s clinic in Windsor, which is known for its quality and commitment to both donors and surrogates. Our lawyer, Rachel WEST will accompany us throughout our journey.
We will be eternally grateful and will be very proud to present our child with this magnificent journey that allowed us to become parents. We will introduce him/her to the «book of his/her story» with all the steps that allowed us to become a dad. We would be delighted if you could take part in this book by giving your testimony on pregnancy and by offering us photos taken during the various months of pregnancy.
For this, we are certain that you will be an exceptional woman to bear our child. A loving woman, surrounded and supported with whom we want to build a relationship of trust, concerned to respect her needs and desires in terms of communication during and after the birth of our child.
Our baby is expected, we have the chance to be accompanied by the people we love to support us throughout this magnificent journey. Our close friends, of whom we are the godfathers of their children, but also our parents, are all eager to welcome our child and to build a relationship with him based on transmission and sharing.
More than becoming parents, we want to start a family. A family represents so many opportunities to share its love with a child and to build memories together that will remain forever engraved in our hearts and help it to become a fulfilled, free and happy person.
When we imagine being fathers, we imagine making our child discover the richness and diversity of the world through travel! We are obviously aware that we don’t travel the same way alone as with a child but there are so many cultures and landscapes to discover… We also imagine raising him or her so that he or she can realize his or her dreams. Our child will be free to do whatever activities he wants, we will not impose our own wishes on him/her.
When we will back home with our baby, our schedules will be ready to share as much time as possible with him (Wednesday afternoon, entire weekend). On our working time, we envisage a small nursery to allow him to meet other children while being accompanied by early childhood professionals in whom we can have full confidence.
While waiting for the end of this journey, we thank you already for investing in this adventure that will allow parents of intention to start a family full of love.
