Dear Future Surrogate,
Meeting you, getting to know you, and starting this journey has become our whole life. We know you are a very special person for offering to help others with a safe place for their baby to grow. People like you make our life goal possible: having a family of our own.
Since we don’t know your story yet, here’s a bit of ours.
Bertrand and I have had our fair share of ups and downs in the beginning of our married life… We got married in 2017 with big dreams of starting a family. After facing multiple miscarriages, we were thrilled to become pregnant. However, due to severe pre-eclampsia, we had to deliver our son, Henry, at only 6 months of pregnancy. We spent two intense months fighting for his life, experiencing both the joy of parenthood and the fear of losing him.
These were the most intense and hard, yet most beautiful, 2 months of our lives.
Henry fought like a lion but unfortunately didn’t make it as his lungs were far too young. He passed on 9/03/2020, just before Covid.
It took us three years to recover from this, as we experienced tremendous grief and grappled with the challenge of parenthood without a child.
We’re certainly not perfect but getting through these challenging years as a couple, as childless parents, and still being able to smile, and to love each other, and live life, makes us proud. We know now we are a strong team, and we are ready, more than ever before, to welcome a second child.
Medical professionals have advised us against future pregnancies due to high risks. Eventually, we accepted that carrying a child ourselves is not a safe option.
So this time we need the help of a wonderful surrogate mother.

We hope we can get to know each other, and we would provide support for each other, helping to cope with the ups and downs of the process. We’re looking forward to one day be excited and stressed before ultrasounds, be amazed by the first heartbeat sounds, celebrate every step onwards on our journey. We also dream that together we would have open and clear communication to ensure that everyone’s expectations, concerns, and preferences are heard throughout the process. And of course, we would celebrate together after the baby is born! Team spirit is vital to us and we are sure that after the birth, your will have taken a special place in our family. We hope our journey together will continue, keeping us connected, whatever the way, in the long term.

Surrogacy stands as proof of how modern science and a lot of kindness can make incredible things happen. The success of surrogacy is a shining example of how science can help us overcome the obstacles that life sometimes throws at us.
