Hi! Nice to meet you!

We are very excited, happy, and hopeful that maybe you will be part of our miracle of becoming a family.
We are Oshri and Muli, same sex couple from Israel, in a relationships for 10 years. We’ve been married for 7 years.

Oshri, 32 years old, Has a master’s degree in social work, working as a probation officer and psychotherapist.
Muli (Shmuel Or), 36 years old, a pastry chef, a culinary consultant, and creator of several dessert menus for restaurants in Tel Aviv.

In addition to our careers, Oshri is working on a very important project, trying to reduce loneliness in the elderly community of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. Muli is also a volunteer at this program. Together we arrange activities on weekends, such as lectures, performances and festive meals for the elderly.

We have a very special relationship, a relationship built on honesty, lots of love and reciprocity. We are both very family oriented. We believe that our relationship can be a safe harbor and that together we can create a warm and loving home for our future children. We are blessed to have such supportive and loving family and friends in our lives, who will always be there for us.

We love traveling, theater, music (Muli is an awesome singer), hiking and camping, gardening our small garden and visiting our friends and family all across Israel. We live in Tel Aviv, so we are enjoying its multiculturalist character, and it fabulous beaches.

We have many nephews and nieces, and love to spend time with them, play games, watch movies and have lots of fun. We are very friendly people, love to spend time with our friends and their children. We are both considered ‘uncles’ for our friend’s kids. Yet, we dream to finally be parents ourselves and have our own children, the summit of our aspirations.

When we decided that we want to begin this journey, we knew it will be in Canada.
Our strong link to Canada began 7 years ago, when we decided to visit our family in Montreal. Today, we have very close relationship with them and visit them from time to time. We also officially got married in Montreal, having the ceremony at their home and it was very special and exciting for us to have our extended Canadian family by our side.

One of the main reasons we chose surrogacy in Canada is that we know women choose to be surrogate mothers voluntarily, from a pure giving altruistic state of mind and not because of personal distress like in third world countries. This is very important to us and we feel very lucky to have this amazing process available to us and the resources to make it happen. Therefore, the altruistic surrogacy was our only choice. We are overjoyed to know that there is a special woman out there, willing to help us, out of her own free will, and carry our baby. We will be thankful and grateful to that extraordinary woman for the rest of our lives.

If you choose us, we would like you to be sure how important it is to us to have a friendly relationship with you, to respect your needs and privacy. The most important thing for us is that you and the baby stay healthy. We promise to do everything we can to make this journey safe and comfortable for you.

It is very important for us to be completely honest with you. I (Muli) am HIV positive but I am healthy, undetectable, and well regulate.
When I have been diagnosed, I was sure it was a death sentence. I felt that my live was over and thought that I would never be able to be a father. But over the years I have learned to accept it, live with it and make the most out of my life.

Now I can truly say that my life is good and the most important thing – I know I can be a parent! You and other surrogates across the world together with modern medicine made it happen for people like us. In a safe and healthy way, you can make my dream come true. Just for that possibility, I am very grateful.
We are aware of the fact that it can be frightening and startling at first, but you can be sure that you will not be at risk at all to HIV exposure in this process.

If that fact is confusing and you are not 100% sure, then we kindly ask of you to consult with a doctor that can explain how this process works, to ensure you that your health will not be at any risk. We want you to be as comfortable and happy as possible during this journey.

We thank you again for reading our letter and giving us the opportunity to become parents.
We really hope you will choose us and carry our future child and help us fulfill our biggest dream of becoming a family.

Love you already,
Muli and Oshri.
