Hi, my name is Mutaz. I am 31 years old, and I was born and raised in Jerusalem/ Israel. I graduated from Birzeit University in 2012 as a journalist and sociologist. I have been working in the US embassy in Jerusalem at the consular section since 2014.

What I like the most, starting with the most precious thing in the world, is my family, especially my mom. I have a unique close relation with my mother, Maha. I love travelling around the world and seeing different cultures. I like sports and I’m passionate about animals and nature.

I have dreamed of children for 5 years now – until now it has not felt real, but I’m READY! Luckily, I have been supported by one of the best lawyers and doctors (in US & Canada). So, I have 5 embryos in Create Fertility Centre -Toronto – waiting to be transferred. My fertility doctor, Dr. Librach, says that I have a great chance of success with a surrogate.

Hopefully when the pregnancy happens, I can achieve my dream of becoming dad. I picture myself celebrating holidays/birthdays in Disneyland and a lot of zoos. This child will be so loved by so many people, such as family, friends and even colleagues. When this baby is born, my plan for the short term is to stay at home taking care of the child and rebounding with my little angel. My mom will be with me for a while (her experiences are needed) until I have a professional nanny!

When I imagine the relationship with my surrogate, I imagine a strong relationship built on respect, honesty, and compassion. I hope to stay in touch, and to me, that means to expand my family to include you and your partner – in case you have one. Would you be up for that?
