Meet Quentin & Alexis

Location: Paris, France

We met eight years ago, when Alexis just arrived in Paris to study, after a year spent in Asia as an exchange student. Quentin was originally from Paris, and he was also attending University, in order to enter the civil service. Since then, many things happened in our lives, but we never left each other !

Quentin works for the French ministry of foreign affairs, which leads him to travel a lot. Fortunately the French ministry is very understanding with uncommon families, and really supportive to us in the countries where he can work. Alexis worked in a bank a few years after he graduated in Paris. Then he quit his job to follow Quentin abroad: we got to spend the last 3 years in Indonesia. Last September, we moved to the Philippines as Quentin was assigned to work at the embassy there.

Since we both come from great families surrounded with love, we really wish to build our own. We looked at many options, but surrogacy appeared as an evidence. Some of our great friends used a surrogacy and now have a beautiful little girl, which leads us to believe that it is possible. Now that we have settled in the Philippines for a few years to come, we believe it is the right time for us to have children. As Alexis does not work there, he will have plenty of time to take a daily care of the child/children.

We are both lucky to come from beautiful places in France. Alexis’ family (parents, sister and nieces) live next to the Swiss border, and we love going there as often as possible for hikking, skiing, enjoying the nature and spending time with our family.

Between two professional assignments overseas, we live in Paris where we are lucky to have access to a lot of museums and cinemas. We both love sports and culture ! We also spend a lot of time with our friends, most of whom got children lately !

The surrogate is really important to us. She can enable us to build our family, bringing more love into our lives. We will be eternally grateful to her, and she will always have a place in our hearts. We wish she will be happy to help us and bring a new life in our world.
