Sacred Surrogacy, in partnership with Canadian Fertility Consulting, recently concluded its highly anticipated 2024 women’s retreat in Nanaimo, BC. From July 26th to July 28th, amazing women from diverse backgrounds gathered at Westwood Lake. They enjoyed a weekend of connection, empowerment, and celebration.
Celebrating Our Surrogacy Community
Our women’s retreat provided a space for experienced surrogates and hopeful surrogates to come together in a supportive and nurturing environment. Against the serene backdrop of Westwood Lake, attendees forged new friendships and rekindled old ones, united by their shared experiences and the beauty of surrogacy.

Alana Wagg, the Retreat Leader at Sacred Surrogacy, expressed her emotions after the women’s retreat, stating, “It’s not something you can describe. It’s love, loss, sadness, joy, sisterhood and a little bit of magic. Our retreats have always been my happy place and this weekend was no different. Activities and Workshops
Throughout the retreat, participants engaged in a diverse range of activities aimed at fostering personal growth, connection, and self-care. Surrogates prioritized their well-being by participating in activities like massage, henna, sound bathing, yoga, crafts, and burlesque dance. Additionally, we strengthened bonds within the community.
